Charity is the Pure Love of Christ

Olá meus amigos, how are you guys? Hope all is well. We didn't have a special week this week but are still doing our part and waiting for the miracles to happen. But let's get into the week.

On pday we go to the mall to eat lunch with the other missionaries. And there they have McDonald's, KFC, BK, and some other ones that I have never seen. But those are the big names here from the U.S. But as you know since we are in South America you have to play soccer, but it is fun and I am getting a lot better. And my comp is prolly the best that i have ever seen. He is really good.

I had an exchange with my DL and it was fun to talk and get to know him. But the area is the same. We knock doors and try to find people.

The past couple days have rained a couple times, and it is starting to feel so nice. Way better than the heat when you can't stop sweating.

Saturdays are my favorite to work. Cause not that many people work either. but we had a RC want to kinda bash about some random topics, and how her boyfriend doesn't give her attention. He pays more attention and hangs out with his friends, oh and by the way she is 29 years old, an adult talking to us about this, very strange.

And then we were at a members house and there was a guy visiting that served in our mission, and told us some really cool stories, how he baptized 7 families in one transfer in Gravataí or Guajuviras. I can't remember but it was really cool. And also how they were allowed to go on splits with members, that was different. But it's amazing to talk to him.

And our lunch that day was amazing!! They gave us so much food and then gave it to us to take home. And it was the best lunch here. and then they tried to give us some redbull, i was so tempted to take it, but we couldn't. so they gave us 3L of Antártica guaranã. HEAVEN. And then gave us some Ice cream to take home too. HEAVEN.

Sunday was crazy too. A guy in our ward had a companion on his mission that was from Nevada. I said what part. He said Casablanca. Umm, that's almost my house. His last name was Mitchell but couldn't remember his first name. But he showed some pictures and I played volleyball with his nephew in the summer. WHAT!!! Crazy!!

ST:

Elder Bednar in his talk, talked about “We can possess charity, but ultimately charity should possess us”. And yes we need to have charity in our lives. To show an example of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.

But that was my week, hope you all have an amazing week. Please send an email. I love hearing from you guys. But always be an example to the people around you. Love you guys.
