So for those of you who don't know I was called to Cheyenne Wyoming but my first area is in Nebraska and when an area is good the missionaries like to call it "elect". And apparently Nebraska is Elect.

First Week

So of course im going to say I can't lie its been rough. I still have a long rough ride ahead of me. I'm home sick but its all worth it. I miss my family and its weird knowing I've been out of the house for about a month. But Missionary work wise we are doing really good I think. I mean from what I can tell. I put someone on date all by myself yesterday so let's hope he sticks it out Sept. 20th 💪. But Scottsbluff is seriously a cool area. A little like mesquite but I see the side that most probably wouldn't go see.

Animals

So Scottsbluff has a lot of animals at least if you look in the right places. This week has been filled with all sorts of them. Mostly Cats tho. There is this one apartment complex that is pretty rough looking and there is literally probably like 30 cats that live there. And they keep having babies. We also see one at this other apartment building always around the same area so we named him "Gato" and he gets in los of fights has lots of battle scars. We met this other cat not far from Gato who we named "Shiz" because it's like a leader from the Book Of Mormon. But there is also another lady that we met her name is Ashley and she has Multiple Personalities supposedly but she has a dog named "Remington". He is a mix of a bunch of like killer dogs but he's super nice. She said he won dog of the year last year for some company and he got like a calendar and coloring book made for him but I dont know.

Threats

Ok so we haven't actually gotten a ton of threats but there's some stuff worth mentioning. We always get those people who shoo us away or get mad but there's some crazy people in Scottsbluff. One we saw walking so I rolled down my window and said "hey you want to come to church with us?" He looked at me and said that we have guts doing what we're doing and if we were around where he was from it wouldn't be good. Ok I guess lol. Then this one probably one of the scarier ones we go to Ashley's apartment and she's working but this guy starts headed towards us walking pretty fast with his hand in his pocket doesnt take it out once. He's got a determined look in his eyes. My first thought we are for sure getting stabbed. This guy's gets real close like within stabbing range and says "what you guys need?" We told him we're just trying to see Ashley and he says something about someone saying to take care of us. WHAT?!??! Then he says "ya'll are good" and walks away. Thought for sure I was going to have to block a knife with my Book Of Mormon. We also went into like a Meth House where we knocked a guy answered absolutely cooked with bruises and blood on him. He starts gagging nearly throws up on us and tells us to come in so of course what you do when you see someone wasted on something and bleeding. We went inside and there was just like 4 people just absolutely cooked we read them a scripture said a prayer one was sitting by a bat messing with it and they wanted us to stay but we dipped.

I've met alot of cool people in Nebraska though and I hope to keep meeting them. I'm going to continue to press forward and hope for the best. I've definitely learned alot just in my first week and my Trainers way of training is to just make me do everything so i kinda just got thrown into the fire. Now he wants to tell the APs to make me DL and train next transfer so im cooked. Pray for me please just to help me out with everything.
