Mesquite Nevada Stakes

Elder Brayden Taylor

Hey whats up everybody this week was pretty good. I feel like am actually getting used to guayaquil and missionary life but I got told im pretty much gone from here next transfer so thats kinda sad. But anyway here's photos:

https://photos.app.goo.gl/BqZdpgiZ9dXTMgjK6 way here's some photos:

TUESDAY- we went on exchanges today and that was super fun. Instead of Castillo it was elder Lami Martinez today hes from the Dominican Republic and is the funniest guy ever. I also was given two hats from members today so i guess I look red today. I got one at lunch and then later I got one from Emilio the guy we just baptized and wants to drink turtle blood with us. And the hat he gave me is the greatest hat ever and was real fun to walk around guayaquil with. So go look at the photos and see my new hat. We ran into this sick lady and she was asking for a prayer from us and we gave it and it was just a sad situation and my hat just made the situation worse so Idk how often ill wear it... but today was overall a great day.

Wendsday: today was overall a really good day we did a absolute TON of contacting today cause most our people are getting baptized so we have to lock in and just find people but that hard cause my area is rich, meaning the people actually have jobs so nobody's around and they'll just like ignore us if we knock. We also hear soy Catolico like 100 times a day. We did run into Emilios wife and she was just complaining to us how he isnt changing and we made him worse and she was just talking over us and just tweaking out about random stuff. But it was a good day i also got banana bread and that was so gas.

Thursday: whats up i think today was pretty normal from what I can remember and thats not much cause Thursdays dont exist anymore. As a missionary all the days just blend together sunday and monday are different but other then that its all just one big blur of a day. But we did have a guy ask us to exercise his house of bad spirits today so that was intresting. We went in and he was saying some words and I dont have any idea of what they were but I did get bad spirits and exercise my house out of it and then his dog was tweaking and he said "mi pero sabe" wich means my dog knows so i was trying not to laugh but we just like said a prayer for his house then he gave us soda and we dipped. But other then that I think it was a normal day.

Friday: today was pretty chill we went on exchanges again today this time instead of elder Castillo we had elder boles and hes really cool we get along really well. We did a lot of contacting again wich is not the best but we got this new guy that i think can actually turn into something. Today was pretty boring but we had a noche de hogar wich is like a ward family home evening and im gonna be sad when I have to leave this ward cause they are absolutly amazing just a great ward. But it was a good day.

Saturday: we ended our exchange this morning and we all got ensoboyado wich is like this fish soup and its got like onion and lemon and lime and its so fetching good. You also put this chifle stuff in it and its dried bananas but they taste more like potato chips. Its so good. I talked to elder coc today and yes hes elder boles comp so theyre coc and boles... its a gift from God. But elder coc is this tiny guatamalan dude and he didnt speak Spanish before the mission he spoke "cuc chic" I think that's how you spell his language but i dont know. Its crazy to listen to. He said he'll teach it to me so ill come home speaking some alien language as well as spanish. Today was conference as well and it was really good today a lot about that scripture in alma about how through small and simple things great things come to pass. I bet tomorrow will be just as good.

Sunday: today was a really good day we had conference again and i actually got to watch all the sessions today in english so that was awsome. We also had a baptisim tonight with our guy Dignu and that was so cool. This guy had been wanting to get baptized for a minute cause hes not married to his wife but we talked to the mission prez and he said its cool so we got the guy baptized and he was so happy about it. His wife was lowkey tweaking tho she was saying we were going to the wrong church for the baptisim and went to some random church. She's a little off. But other then that the bapy was awsome.

Anyways i miss all you guys in mesquite im a little busy this pday but ill try my best to get back to all of you.
