Hey whats good everyone in hope you all had a good new years and christmas. Sorry I havnt sent out an email for a fat second just got preocupied a little. Ill just give a baisic summary of what been goin on here in Macará.
Christmas- showed my comp what a tim tam slam was and he loved it, and a baptisim fell through so that was fun.
Inbetween- we got some more people on track for bappys and we got our dawgs hermana dominca baptized and hermana rocío we love her but shes a little loopy.
New years- okay the guys dress up in drag anf dance and get paid for it... a little wierd i know but also very funny. Also they get like dolls and light them on fire in the middle of Town... then at night they got all naitive and i saw dude in like face paint and very naitive music playing.
After new years- had ANOTHER bapy our dude byron got baptized and it was absolutly awsome. And we put on another fetcha for our guy Adrian.
Unspiritual thoughts:
Christmas is better cold, especially when youre in 90 degree heat.
They dont cook the meat in ceviche de carne... might be getting sick soon but it did taste very good.
The APs came down here and helped us realize we are here to BAPTIZE, especially in south america the people are just ready for it.
The catholic church is the great and abominable church... just is. When the spanyards came down here they got everyone and told them they could die or become catholic, thats why everyone and their dog here is catholic, then also under EVERY cathilic church in south america there are people they killed under there... genuinly the catholics love to tell us thats how the church gets its power.... how lovely
Ecuadorian lasagna is better then italian.... let that sink in.
A guy we were teaching totaly just killed a guy yesterday... so ya fue
Spirtual thought:
Yesterday church eas super cool it was testamony meeting cause it was fast sunday, and when we started out here the second sunday was fast sunday and litterly just us 4 and Darwin and his wife shared and that was it. But yesterday we had like 8 testamonys and EVERYONE was shareing. It was so cool to physically see the progress Macará has made and how ive been able to help with that makes me feel good.
