Good week this week! Nothing too crazy happened. Not that I can remember right away at least. We just had good days.

I went up to Raymondville this week for an exchange and it was pretty fun. Raymondville is an interesting place. It is nice to go there every so often, but I don't know how I would do if that was my area haha. I had a good day with Elder Lewis though and we just worked and then picked up some Subway at the end of the night. I had to teach an english class so that was fun. I am not really used to doing classes and service stuff like that so it was fun to do once.

I had the most gas member meal ever this week. It was like our only one, our ward ain't feeding us too much. I am chilling though. My body can afford to eat itself and starve a bit! We had some amazing fajitas at the nicest house I have ever seen down here. It is just a ton of acres and a little drive through their gate to get to their house. It is so awesome and peaceful. Super cool people. They are just old white bougie country people.

That was mostly the week. I am just kind of enduring the area bit. I am about ready to get out of here. I will miss for sure, but just same plaes and starting to have people come up to me and say "Hey you guys were the ones that invited me to church" gIt happens, but right now it is happening a lot more. People know me and that is how you know you have been there a sec haha.

Church went good. It was stake conference and we had 2 friends there. I sat by the one that we found earlier in the week and never met back up with until church. We didn't quite cover the Word of Wisdom so he liked to talk and he was a loud talker so it annoyed people, but he eventually kept quiet and it wasn't too horrible. God Bless Tomas. Elder Hans T. Boom spoke at it though and had a really good talk. Hopefully our friends got slapped by the spirit and want to keep meeting. Especially Tomas because I don't think a still small voice would worked in his state haha.

Spiritual Thought:

It has been a super awesome week for a missionary out here because he finished The Book of Mormon all the way through his first time! It has been a party to say the least. That might be dramatic, but man he worked hard for it and finished it.

It made me just ponder on when I read it and the first time I read it and all I thought about was how my testimony has changed. The thought of repitition came to my mind again because truly after my first time reading, I remembered some of the stories. There is some ligit stories in there. As I have read it, I have remembered more stories and where they are at, but I have learned more about Jesus. How the Book of Mormon is a witness of Him and His gospel.

The Book of Mormon is the word of God and I have come to known that through reading it and most importantly praying. When I read it, it can be words on a page, but when you pray before you read it with the intent to grow, man some amazing things happen. I invite yall to pray and read it because that is the strongest conversion tool in the gospel.

Peace🤘
