Hey everybody! Hopefully everyone loved Conference. I was actually able to watch it this time and I really enjoyed it. It is that same thing with change. It just won't ever be the same without President Nelson, but I am grateful that even with the changes, the gospel never does. This is and always will be Jesus Christ's Church here on earth.

Just another week out here in Harlingen, Texas. Still getting used to it for sure. It has just been very dead. You don't see many people out compared to Brownsville or my other areas, so all we do is knock and try to go to places people might be out.

The highlight was some good meals this week for sure. We had 2 member meals in a row and the first was Pizza Hut and the second was Texas Roadhouse. Then next day you know we had to hit up Bogo wings at Bdubs. It was a good lineup. Between the 4 of us at Bdubs, we ordered a little over 100 wings. The stomach wasnt feeling too hot going in, so I definitely paid for it even more the next day, but man was it good!

We dont get member meals too much, but when we do, it is the Sisters middle aged recent converts that spoil them and I am just there for the ride. Its kinda weird, but Texas Roadhouse is Texas Roadhouse so I wont say anything. They arent ever too sus, but yes a little weird haha.

Thats about it for the week. Just working hard to make time go by. I'm not counting the days, I am making them count haha.

My spiritual thought isnt anything too crazy. I just invite you guys to listen to the General Conference Talks and learn from them.

Also I want to echo what Elder Uchtdorf said and say that Discipleship is every day and every hour. I related his plane story about the simulator to lots of things in my life. Sports, Spanish, talking to women (thats kind of a joke), reading scriptures, praying, being a disciple of Jesucristo. The more diligent and consistent you are with it, the easier it becomes. Like with anything, it can be hard to start. You will make lots of mistakes, but through constant and diligent effort, one day it will be like second nature. Soon enough you will find yourself automatically kneeling by your bed every night to say a prayer or at your desk every morning to study the scriptures. Just be patient and give it time.
