Transfer 10

Whats up yall. Finally hit double digit transfers. Feels kind of weird. I was really woken this week honestly. Heres the rundown:

- Half of my comps I have had here in my mission left this week to go home and I had other friends leave too. Very sad. They were in their prime when I got here and now they gone. It made me realize that there is an end to this and it comes quick. I have time left, but not as mich as I think. I was able to go to tramsfers and say bye so that was fun. Gonna miss them fr tho. I dont feel like I got too many friends here anymore. Kind of becoming an old head. There is just a lot of young missionaries compared to old so even though i am a little past halfway, im considered old haha.

- I am staying here in Brownsville for a 3rd with the same comp. Might get long, but imma just work hard so it goes by. Whats dope is that we got Elder Juarez in the 4man and while he can speak some english we only talk in Spanish with him. Its gonna help me a lot.

- On the bikes a lot again this week and it did rain which was nice, but made it way more humid and it was sunny the rest of the week so that kicked my butt a little. I love bikes though. Super fun and make me feel like a real missionary.

- To end with the highlight of the week, Taco Bell got a new Baja flavor called Baja Midnight. Not the biggest fan so not really a highlight, but i had to let yall know and it gave me another reason to go to taco bell so it was good haha.

Spiritual thought:

1 Corinthians 2:9,10

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

I was reading a talk by Elder Uchtdorf. Its called "You Matter to Him" and he quotes this scripture at the very end. I truly believe we matter to Him and that as we grow closer to Him we will be blessed beyond measure. I just really like that. Obviously I know I am a child of God. I have been singong since I was 3. Those reminders help me to remember that and that He loves us and we need to grow our love for Him.
