Wrong my whole life :(
I thought my whole life that I was right handed in everything, throwing a baseball, writing, whatever. But apparently I'm left handed when eating like a Filipino. It's supposed to be spoon in the right, fork in the left. But I have fork in the right, spoon in the left. And yes this is real, I had our Bishop ask if I was left handed because of that
For those that didn't leave after the world's most boring fun fact, I'm still alive here in the Philippines! And also you get another (fun? boring?) fact. I knew rice was part of every meal here, but the dogs also eat rice most of the time too. I mean it makes sense but I don't know why that didn't click earlier.
Espiritual na Isip: I don't know what to say other than just read the Book of Mormon. I'm realizing how great that book is and how much we can learn from it. The best part is that it isn't even a boring book. Like the stories are really awesome as well as super spiritually deep, couldn't ask for a better book really.
We have people who are interested, and hopefully they'll be able to come closer to Christ, and find the joy that comes through him! Had a friend that we've met with a few times and he came to church for the first time last night so that was really cool. Another friend is really interested, loves the scriptures, and should be able to be baptized here in a couple weeks so we're praying for him! Other than that not much stands out from walking, talking, teaching, and all that missionary stuff.
Also last pday after the email we went on a hike and District lunch that kept us out of the apartment until we had an hour and a half left in pday. It was awesome for sure but long. Rough.
