I finally made it to the field. Two month in the mtc was a long time. The flight was so long and was so boring. I slept maybe three hours. We landed in Manila at 4:30 and it was crazy. We got situated and founf our way to where we needed to go. We made it to the mission office and met the mission president! He is so cool.

I got my first assignment and I am in Narra, Palawan! So I got to fly again. I slept that whole hour flight this time. I met a bunch of other missionaries whilr going to Palawan. They are are so cool and fun.  Once we landed in Puerto, I got in a van for an hour to get to my area. When i got here I met my companion Elder Mausisa! He is so cool and he grew up in California. We also had about 10 missionaries stay at our apartment because it was midnight when we got here and they still had an hour left to their area.

Missionary work is crazy! But it is so fun. On saturday we went to a wedding and it was so fun. We taught some people. I could only bear my testimony because I cant understand anything anyone says. So that is amazing. I taught a parts of the lesson but I dont think the people could understand what I said. Tagalog is hard but I know I can learn it with God's help!

Saturday night we invited people to church. On sunday it was crazy. It was district conference so a bunch of branches all met at our chapel for conference. The chapel was packed full and didnt understand any of the talks for the whole 2 hours. We went and taught some people sunday night and even met some new families.

This place is beautiful and so hot and humid. I am always drenched in sweat or rain. We get bikes in our area and its so fun and it feels so good to get the wind on us.
