Mixed emotion week forsure lol. Almost went home because I am a wuss and mentally was struggling (jk mental health is no joke). But I got told to suck it up and change my attitude 🫡, so I'm here now and I am just working. My ward is kinda small. I think me and elder chipman need to revive this place, but it's a hard area for sure. I also got my first gun pulled on me right after my email last week. I am alive though and God is protecting me so don't worry. I've just been talking to members and and getting to know the area and stuff like that. We had a guy say he wants to get baptized and now he is saying he doesn't want to so thats kinda buns. Talked to tons of people that aren't interested, but we trying.

I have been living off quesadillas and my stomach is not looking so hot right now, and the sky is yet again always cloudy and gray and raining. Biking has been chill I hope my legs are growing, they feel like they are. Uh yeah I don't have much else to say haha 😂.

I guess i'll do a spiritual thought because I am a missionary and I'm kinda super spiritual now.

Good old 1 Nephi 1:1 but im gonna replace Nephi with my own name because I love my parents and they have taught me well, so I kinda relate to this 🫶

I, Mckay, having been born of goodly parents, therefore I was taught somewhat in all the learning of my father; and having seen many afflictions in the course of my days, nevertheless, having been highly favored of the Lord in all my days; yea, having had a great knowledge of the goodness and the mysteries of God, therefore I make a record of my proceedings in my days.

I don't have a great knowledge of God, but I'm here and I'm trying and God loves effort and he loves you all dearly. ♥️
