Walk with Christ

Opa meus amigos, I hope that everything is good back home. This week kinda went by fast but also slow. So it was good and bad, but let me tell you the details.

We had pday with our zone and played some volleyball. Here I am like a superpower because everyone is small, the nets are small, and I am the only one that has any volleyball experience. But it was really fun. We also tried to make piña colada drinks and they didn’t turn out well. I drank it but didn’t want another cup.

I got another burger from America Burger. It is so good. It is a members company and he went to the U.S. so he knows a little bit more about how to make a burger.

But we did get to go to Porto Alegre. And it was really cool. We passed the Inter stadium and saw a lot of cool places that are part of the South Mission. And also made a stop at the temple to buy a couple things and take some pics of course. I have never been inside to do any work so I am hoping I can take a RC soon.

We had lunch with one of our members and he was the temple pres. at a time and he got to work with Elder Gong and his wife. Elder Goodoy too. He has a painting and had all the temple works put their signature. It was cool to talk with them.

We have some member meals that are so weird, like they put the food on the table and leave. and then we have some that are the best ever, where we talk forever about anything it is amazing.

We are doing our best to find people that we can baptize. We did find a couple that are pretty good. They are getting married soon but trying to get baptized in another church. So we had to tell them about the Church of Jesus Christ.

In this recent general conference David J. Wundeli had a great talk, he said that “Removing Jesus will not lighten your load…He is not the weight, He is the relief” And exactly that, we need to walk with Jesus. During the good and bad times we need to seek Him. He gave us everything. Why should we remove the person that gives us so many blessings?
