Quick update

I'll be so honest, I'm slowly losing motivation to write these emails, so we will see how often you get them lol

This will just be a quick little update. The work in this area is pretty slow at the moment and we are hoping to see things pick up as we work diligently and get the ward more involved in missionary work.

When we got here, our friend Dava was on date to he baptized that Saturday. We had a lesson with her and she was not prepared to be baptized yet, so we pushed her date back a week hoping to meet with her everyday. There were some issues that we were made aware of that will prevent her from being baptized at this time, but if you could just keep Dava in your prayers that would be great!

Other than that we've been trying to get to know the area and doing lot's of member visits. One thing I didn't know before my mission was how important the members are in this work. If you think that the missionaries have got this covered and you can just cheer them on, I'm sorry but you're wrong😆 Members play a huge role in helping our friends feel welcome, and including them in everything. We move around all the time, so the stability comes from you guys. Member Work and member referrals are proven to be the most effective, so just keep that in mind and help out your local missionaries :)

Spiritual thought:

This is from a talk called focus on the temple. I love the temple so much, and I miss going! I haven't been able to go since being in Montana, but I'm hoping tp be able to go next week. Just remember that the temple is the house of the Lord, and you can't get closer to Him than in the temple.

"It is significant that the Savior chose to appear to the people at the temple. It is His house. It is filled with His power. Let us never lose sight of what the Lord is doing for us now. He is making His temples more accessible. He is accelerating the pace at which we are building temples. He is increasing our ability to help gather Israel. He is also making it easier for each of us to become spiritually refined. I promise that increased time in the temple will bless your life in ways nothing else can."
