  • West Stake Mission Plan

Mesquite Nevada West Stake Dearly Loved Members of the Mesquite Nevada West Stake, Once again, we are sharing a message of encouragement to seek joy by fulfilling the actions of the Stake Mission Plan. For the month of July, the challenge is to seek out a name of a deceased family member and take that name to the temple.  As you do this, ponder on who you may share this experience with among your nonmember or less active friends.  Just talking about the joy you feel as you participate in this activity can bring the spirit to those listening. Another action that is needed at this time is prayer and fasting for our investigators.  The Full-time Missionaries have experienced an increase in the adversary's efforts to pull families away just before baptism.  We are asking our Stake Members to pray for those being taught that they will be strong as the opposition tries to pull them away from the truth and that the influence of the adversary may be reduced as our investigators grow their testimonies. Here is a link to some beneficial missionary information and tools you may enjoy:  Missionary Portal May God bless you in your efforts to share the Gospel, Mesquite Nevada West Stake Presidency
