Sister Jenna Camille Walters has been called by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Nevada Reno Mission, English speaking. She enters the Provo MTC on September 15, 2025. Jenna is the daughter of Stephen and Heather Walters from the Willows Ward in the Mesquite Nevada West Stake. Sister Jena Camille Walters will be speaking on August 31, 2025, at 12:00pm in the Bunkerville Chapel.

Elder Bryant Glade Denninghoff has been called to a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will serve in the Uruguay Montevideo West Mission. Bryant will start home MTC September 8th and will attend the Mexico Missionary Training Center, starting September 17th. Jonathan and Shalee Denninghoff of the Vista Ward, East Stake, are Bryant's parents. Elder Bryant Denninghoff will speak August 31, 1:30 in the Whipple Building, located at 121 Whipple Way, Mesquite.

Elder Jared Jensen has served with honor for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will return from Monterrey Mexico West Mission on August 27th. Daniel and Liliana Jensen of the Vista Ward, West Stake are his parents. Elder Jared Jensen will report on his mission August 31st at 1:30pm in the Whipple Chapel, 121 Whipple Way in Mesquite.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, Sister Bender, our Stake Music Coordinator, has asked me to invite all adults and young men and women who like to sing to join together for a Stake Choir for our upcoming Conference on Sept. 13th and 14th. The music will not be difficult—hymns either from the current hymns or possibly from the newly released hymns. We will sing on Sunday morning. Practices: Every Sunday at 3:15 in the chapel at the Stake Center for 1 hour. Feel free to come in your Sunday after-church clothes. Even if you can’t make all the practices, come when you can. There is something wonderful that happens when we fill the choir seats and sing songs of praise. No experience needed—come one and all. Hope to see you there! Elder Destry Tobler has been called to serve for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Lima, Peru West Mission, speaking Spanish. The mission started on August 4th with home MTC, then on August 13th, he'll report to the Provo Missionary Training Center. Kurt and Kortney Tobler of the Bunkerville 2nd Ward, West Stake are Destry's parents. Elder Destry Tobler's farewell is on August 10th, 10:30am at the Bunkerville Chapel.

Elder Weston Felshaw will serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will serve in the in the Mexico City Mexico East Mission. It will be a Spanish speaking mission, beginning August 11th with home Missionary Training and then he'll enter the Provo MTC. Brogan and Shantelle Felshaw of the Bunkerville 1st Ward, West Stake, are Weston's parents. Elder Weston Felshaw will speak on August 10th, 9:00 am in the Bunkerville Chapel. Elder Brandon Perkins will serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Australia, Brisbane mission. He will begin home MTC August 11th and will be attending the Provo Missionary Training Center starting August 20. Brandon’s parents are Maurie and Christy Perkins of the Heritage Ward, West Stake. Elder Brandon Perkins will be speaking August 10th, at 9am in the Stake Center, located at 100 N. Arrowhead Ln., Mesquite.

Elder Owen Rappley has return from a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the Portland Oregon Mission, speaking English the first 6 months and speaking Chuukese for 18 months. Owen is the son of Don and DeNae Rappley of the Old Mill Ward, West Stake. Elder Owen Rappley will share his mission on August 10th at 10:30 in the Whipple Chapel. It is located at 121 Whipple Way in Mesquite. Welcome home Elder!
