A Court of Honor was held on March 8 for Troop 41 sponsored by the Bunkerville 1st ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Benson Leavitt received his Boy Scout and Tenderfoot, Trey Houston, 2nd Class; Ethan Woods, Boy Scout and Tenderfoot; Benson, Ethan and Tanner Empey and Will Barnum received merit badges they earned. Junior Dalton gave the scoutmaster minute, "Scouting teaches the love of nature, duty to God and service and preparing for special opportunities." He asked the scouts, "What can you do for scouting? What special spirit do you have to offer to scouting to make it fun for all the young men?" Christ Allen, Scoutmaster, thanked the parents for their support and asked the scout to set some goals. He said," scouts need a spark of desire; opportunities are waiting for you to take advantage of to learn life skills and outdoor skills through the scouting program."
