Burdens to Blessings

Dear Sisters of the Mesquite West Stake,

We are excited to share a wonderful upcoming service opportunity to serve and love our neighbors right here in our community!

The Burdens to Blessings: Donation Drive and Outreach event will take place on October 10, 2026, at 100 N Arrowhead Lane. All are invited to participate!

Event Schedule (October 10, 2026)

• 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM: Drop Off Donations

• 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Collect Free Items (Yes, everything is free!)

Donation Guidelines Please make sure all donated items are new or used (but still usable), clean, and sorted.

Items We Are Accepting:

• Clothing, shoes, and coats

• Chairs, lamps, and side tables

• Trinkets

• Blankets and pillowcases

• Games and toys

• Other useful household items

Items We CANNOT Accept:

• Jewelry, perfume, makeup, or toiletries

• Underwear (unless brand new in original packaging)

• Large furniture, appliances, or large household items

• Shoes with broken straps

• Any broken or damaged items

All remaining items at the end of the event will be donated to SafeNest to further support those in need. For more information about the program, you can also visit www.justserve.org.
