Elder Gavin Shawn Hughes will serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has been called to the Peru, Cusco Mission, Spanish speaking and will start home MTC on July 15.
Shawn and Mindy Hughes of the Old Mill Ward, are his parents.

I know that Jesus Christ lives and that He is my Savior and Redeemer, and I know that I can be saved through Him and His atonement. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church and that Russel M. Nelson is the true prophet of God. And I know that God loves and knows each of his children personally and blesses each of us everyday and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen
