Here is the most recent update on the status of the Mesquite Historical Society's effort to restore and preserve our 1880 Rock House and the Mesquite Relief Society House on Willow Street. We would not have gotten this far without the help of our community. YOU ALL made this possible with your donations to our fund raising projects and for the volunteer work on the building site. We now have a secure fence (Thanks to the City of Mesquite) and power to the buildings. We will resume the interior renovations in the fall and again we are asking the community to volunteer. Please keep an eye on our Face Book postings for the starting dates. Again, please help us restore and preserve our history for generations to come.
