David Anderson, Mesquite Nevada Stake President and John Burrows, Mesquite 8th Branch President were excited to participate in the inaugural Branch Conference meetings on January 14, 2018. Each spoke on Faith in The Lord Jesus Christ being the sole means of Happiness and Salvation. Between the talks, Sister Mitzi Bender played a beautiful rendition of "Faith of our Fathers" on the piano.
President Anderson joined in the Teacher Discussion during the second hour; a discussion ably lead by Sunday School President Don Lawrence, as part of the Come Follow Me program. Concurrently, Brother Ron Crossman was teaching the Gospel Doctrine class a lesson from the Old Testament.
Sister Fiso, Stake Relief Society President, lead a discussion on Faith based on verses found in Ether 12. High Council Representative Brother Noel led the discussion on Faith (Ether 12) in the High Priest Group Meeting.
