Littlefield, AZ - Thomas Lloyd King, age 86, returned to his Heavenly Father on May 27, 2021 at St. George Regional Hospital, due to natural causes. He was born on November 3, 1934, in Culver City, California to Frank Lloyd King and Selma Alberta Watkins. He was a California native and attended Venice High School. He married Diane Ware and they had two beautiful daughters Dana and Pamela; They were later divorced. In 1986, he met and married the love of his life, Beth Jones and they had one son, Paul. They were later sealed in the St. George Temple.

He was a Landscape Architect by trade and owned his own business, where he thrived with his creativity and expertise. He was highly revered for his artistic design throughout Beverly Hills, California. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a Sunbeam Teacher, High Priest Group Leader and Cubmaster. The second love of his life was car racing. In his earlier years, he could be found at the racetrack on Saturday nights watching stock car races. In later years, he avidly watched every type of racing. He loved water sports, his ski boat, dune buggying, four-wheeling, motorcycling, camping and… Yahtzee.

He loved being a Husband, Father and Grandfather. He always made everyone feel as though they were his favorite and always expressed how proud he was of each of them. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Dana. He is survived by his sister, Shirley Fletcher, Yerington, NV; daughter, Pamela Kennedy (Greg), Atlanta, GA; son, Paul King, Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren: Josh Kennedy, Meagan Day (Jordan), Jaclyn Darrington (Brad), Cody King (Shaylee), Trevor Kennedy (Andrea) and Amelia King; great grandchildren: Kieren, Amalyn and Catalina Kennedy; Easton, Luke, Lily Grace and Isabella Day; Lillian and Charlotte King; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held in St. George, Utah on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd.

Funeral services will be held in Littlefield, Arizona on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., with a visitation prior from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., at the Littlefield LDS Chapel, 3260 East Old Hwy 91. The burial will be at Mesquite City Cemetery in Mesquite, NV.
