1116494e-c219-4e20-aa17-10042cbd57f8 Elder Christian Martinez Back to Missionary Letters The Journey Home Hey y'all, I'll make this quick Due to the COVID-19 virus, and having asthma, my service in the Pennsylvania Philadelphia Mission will be stopped, and I was informed I probably wont be able to come back out, due to the amount of missionaries coming into the United States. I return home tomorrow morning. The experiences I have had while out here will stay with me the rest of my life. I've learned so much about me, others, and especially about the gospel of Jesus Christ and how much God loves us. I have loved every single thing about being a missionary and serving the Lord Jesus Christ. I love Him, and what he did for me, and all of Gods children. He walked such a long, lonely path, so we wouldn't have to. May we always remember our Savior, and what He did for us. This is His church. God lives, Jesus is the Christ, never ever forget God's love for you, it will never go away. I love you all! Elder Martinez Previous Letter Next Letter

94e8cee7-2777-4434-a403-20ad1d07196c Sister Kennedi Ludvigson Back to Missionary Letters Ang Katapusan awkward Well. This is my last email heading your way and to be honest I really don't want to write it because that means it's time for me to go back to America. I can't express enough of my gratitude that The Lord called me to serve a mission here in Cebu East Philippines. That He has allowed me to experience so many miracles and sacred moments. I love this work with all my heart and it wish I could be an elder so I could serve two years. I love the people and this gospel. To be honest I don't really miss my family (sorry mom.) But, I really have caught the spirit of missionary work and I don't want that to change even if I won't be wearing a name tag anymore. I am grateful that I have learned how to study, how to pray, how to hear the spirit, how to love, how to be obedient and in the process I have become a little more Christlike. That pure religion is following the first and second great commandments. This week I have been trying not to let myself think about what lays ahead because it scares me. I keep questioning myself if I have really gave the Lord my whole heart, might, mind and strength. This week I have truly come to understand the Lord's grace. I have made a lot of mistakes on my mission, but I gave it my best and I have faith that the Lord will make up for my weaknesses. Now I am just going to try not to cry everyday this week. THIS GOSPEL IS SO TRUE! OUR SAVIOR LIVES. HEAVENLY FATHER KNOWS US AND LOVES US. WE HAVE BEEN SENT TO EARTH AT THIS TIME TO HELP PREPARE THE WORLD FOR THE SECOND COMING OF OUR LORD. I LOVE THE PHILIPPINES! Signing out for the last time, Sister Ludvigson *My homecoming is March 22 at 8 am in Mesquite. All of my people are welcome. See ya'll next Wednesday! tatay Pedro. who is very proud to own 4 bibles and now 1 "mormon bible" Previous Letter Next Letter

The comp is good and we're working hard and getting a lot of work done and it's been honestly just a grind! We're teaching a lot of people. I'd say the biggest miracle we've seen so far is a lady named Caitlin, she was a referall and immediately accepted the Gospel and came to church last week! Im just loving to the end, can't wait to see yall! Previous Letter Next Letter

Let's get into it starting with transfer news! I'm still in Playford but Elder Wilson went to Wyalla. My new comp is Elder Clayton and I'll be training him for his second transfer! Super excited and even though it's only been two days, I can tell that this transfer if going to be a good one! Also, for those who know him, ELDER PERRY IS MY DL. LETS GOOOOOOO Google Photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/SPHBKzMm2s5zEyUQ8 Email: caiden.jones@missionary.org Mission Address Letters (in Mission) PO Box 97 Marden SA 5070 Australia Packages (in Mission) 11 Sommers Avenue Firle SA 5070 Australia ————————————————————————— Animal(s) of the week: - Brax. He's the dog from before, but he's so funny - Buddy the Bird. One of our friends has a bird named buddy and he's pretty chill. Didn't land on me but he did land on Elder Hunt ————————————————————————— Highlight Reel: - WE PUT OUR FRIEND DAVID ON DATE!! He's working towards being baptized on March 16th! Prayers up for David - We had some pretty fire lessons this week with a lot of people. Playford is such a great area with tons of potential - Had a doctors appointment where I was waiting for an hour to go in (partially my fault) which kinda tucked - Transfer News! I always love hearing the changes in the mission. Some areas have electric scooters now and I hope I get to be in one before I go home - Exchanges with Elder Hunt. This guy is gonna be an AP one day. No doubt. - Elder Clayton is a beast. The greenie spirit is real and strong. So hyped ————————————————————————— Experience of the week! We put our friend on date! David is awesome and we're super excited to help him work towards baptism. The experience putting him on date though was kind of crazy. To make a long story short, it was very Spirit led. There were many times where God's will was shown and we trusted in Him. It was a powerful experience for me because it reminded me how important it is to use every second that you've got, serving with all of your heart, might, mind, and strength. The Lord leads us and if we listen to the Spirit we can have our will in harmony with God's. This week I would like to invite all of you to be very mindful of the Spirit and act upon the promotings you receive. Pray for guidance and to know God's will, and look for opportunities to serve. Try focusing on how the Spirit speaks to you. Read materials that increase your knowledge and understanding of the Spirit. Most importantly, put your trust in God. He has a perfect plan for you and although we might not know the reason for everything, our Father in Heaven has a much greater perspective. All of you, and those around you, will be blessed and strengthened as you follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost. I love you all and 'till next time! - Elder Jones Previous Letter Next Letter

  • Elder Stetson Ludvigson

e8475029-129a-46ed-82dd-19a704b468e4 Elder Stetson Ludvigson Back to Missionary Letters So this week was pretty insane! A lot of stuff happened, so we had transfers this week which is always a party, me and Elder Miles are staying together in Garland which I am pumped about because there is a lot of people here searching for the gospel! So after Tranfers we went and had a few lessons, one with Debra and Richard who are just the best, they are on date for November, and Debra has such a strong testimony it astounds me because she has had a tough life! But after our lessons it was towards the end of the night and we get a call from one of the Elders in our district, and we answer and see that he is in a hospital gound and at the hospital, So Elder Coons said that he has choked on some pulled pork so his companion had to do the heimlich, and after he got it all out he said he would still feel something in his throat, he went to the ER where they did an X-Ray and saw a big piece of bone stuck in his throat, so they had to ship him to a hospital in plano to have surgery on his throat. We had to go and pick up his companion while he went to plano in an ambulance! So that was pretty wild! But everything was fine and we got everything settled that next morning. We also went and visited Claudia and her family who are just the best! We are always leaving there laughing! She is an inspiration, she has beat cancer twice and has a son who I'd disabled and has around 10 seizures a day, and has completely changed her life around when she found the restored gosepl of Jesus Christ! So this Saturday come rolling around and we are heading to a lesson and as we were walking through the complex we saw Nelson, who is a recent convert that we haven't been able to get in contact with, and so we stop and talk with him for a little and share a spiritual message and got him another Book of Mormon, then we just headed to our lesson just a few apartments down from his. As we were teaching this lady, Shannon, the restoration a bunch of cops just start rolling up. And we are trying to figure out what was going on, and we see all these cops start running straight to Nelson's apartment, and so we kinda pause from our lesson to see what is going on. And we look over and see Nelson the recent convert guy we just taught getting pulled out of his apartment by the cops, and then taken to jail so that was pretty wild, haha. I guess that's what happens when you aren't following the commandments! But anyway our lesson with Shannon went amazing! She is the greatest and we are super pumped for her! On Sunday night we had a lesson with Keith, who has had a hard life and has really struggled lately to feel Gods love, but we had a super good visit and towards the end of our visit we asked keith if we could give him a priesthood blessing! And he said you can but to it according to your faith because I dont know if I have any anymore. And all through the lesson I had to use the restroom super badly but figured I would just hold it, specially since he lives in a trailer. But as we stand up to give him a blessing I knew I had to go before the blessing or else it would distract from the spirit haha so in Elder Miles words "it looked like you were about to say something so inspired it was gonna blow his socks off." But I stand up and say "keith... can I use your restroom man." Haha it was pretty funny, but after we gave him a blessing and the spirit was insanely strong it was pretty epic! I definitely knew at that moment that God loved Keith no matter what he had been trhough. Later on in the week we had MLC which is always a great time to see the other missionaries and to receive revelation, one thing that was really amazing that we talked about was a scripture, 3 Nephi 27: 2, and in this scripture Christ says "What will ye that I shall give unto you?" we talked about what you would say in response to this question, what would you ask for from Christ? Maybe perhaps a better family life or more faith whatever it is. Then our President shared James 1:5-6 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering." And so whatever you would ask Christ if you were there while he asked the Nephites this question, go and ask him! And I loved that thought, so that's my challenge for y'all! 90646e3f-c72c-4945-b2d3-c7f08daa26a0 Elder Maurice Jayden Perkins Back to Missionary Letters Batismo de Dionel This week was a good one. There were some great things that happened this week! Tuesday was the Independence Day of Moçambique and that was pretty cool. One of the members in our area is the Young Women's Presidente and so she asked us to invite some of the people that we are teaching, to an activity they were having. We brought one of the young women from a family we are teaching and she loved it! After that we walked with another member and it was great. We are teaching some of his friends now and they came to church this week! After that on Wednesday we taught a lot of people and that was really good, and on Thursday we went and visited the Americans again. This time one of the couples that wasn't there the last time was there and we talked and visited with them. They asked us some questions about things and it went really well. At the end we gave them pamphlets and ended with a prayer. It was really cool. On Friday we visited a man who just wanted to talk in English with us. He speaks pretty good and it was cool because he served a mission for his church as well but he understood the message really good. We also had the Baptismal Interview for Dionel! So Dionel is a 10 year old who's family has been coming to church for the past two years or so and they just haven't been married yet. However their son Dionel wanted to be baptized and they wanted him to be baptized as well. So we taught him. Here's the thing though,he does not speak Portuguese. He only speaks Macuewa, the local dialect, and so we needed a translator. We taught him everything through his dad and that was pretty cool. When it came time to do the interview, the Branch President did it because he speaks Macuewa. The baptism was awesome and he chose me to baptize him. It was special being able to baptize him. How amazing is it that the Gospel of Jesus Christ will always find a way to bless other people. Even though there was a language barrier the Gospel of Jesus Christ was able to break through and bless his life. It is a testimony to me as I remember the promise in the scriptures, "28 And now I say unto you that the time shall come that the salvation of the Lord shall be declared to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people."- Mosiah 15:28 I am excited for his mom and dad to be baptized as well here in the new future and I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ. This wonderful work will go on no matter what! I am so grateful to be a part of it and for all the blessings that the Lord gives to me. Entao até próxima semana. Obrigado aos todos! Tchau tchau! 19481068-1470-4fde-9b32-aea9d1c0c74f Elder Andrew Maxfield Back to Missionary Letters Rockwood For Life Photos of moi and my mission! https://photos.app.goo.gl/6eFoMLcxApcTof8c7 I preface this email by saying hello how do you do? In a British accent of course! How are yall?! Another week flew by but this time it's with somebody else but not in a new place! We had transfers this week and I'm with a new companion Elder Porter! I'm excited to get to work with him. Anyways, here's my week😊 - For our last P Day we did... almost nothing. BUT! We did go to Top Golf to keep the tradition alive😅 it was a lot of fun to swing again, even if I've only slightly improved at it😵💫 - We had a busy Wednesday with Transfer Calls that night but we had District Council akd I was able to give a training on the Sacrament(spiritual thought later). We were all stressing about who was leaving when our DL got a call saying he was going to be a ZL! So that was one gone. Then at transfer calls we heard that Sister Wall was leaving after only one too! So now it was just me, Elder Phillips, and Sister Jepson that were staying. We all got new comps and this transfer is going to be epic! My new companion is Elder Brock Porter and he's been out for about a year and a half. I'm so excited to be with another older missionary, it makes me feel more confident😂 - We ate at a bakery, played games, packed, and said goodbye to some people here in our area for Elder Barlow, a final checklist of things to do while he was here. It was a good last day I'm glad we could spend it with Harry as well😌 - We pulled up to transfers which I haven't been to in 3 months and I got to see everyone again! That is always my favorite😂 I didn't get to see Barbs and Olson which is lame but I did get to see all my old and new friends. I said goodbyes to Elder Barlow and we were off. I'm grateful to have served with Elder Barlow even if it was some of the hardest months of my life. He taught me a lot and I hope he does awesome in North Carolina🫡 - The last couple days just included me trying to show Elder Porter what I could from the area and introduce him to everyone so hopefully we can start making some plans of where to go and what to do! Everyone pray for us pretty please😅😁 For my spiritual thought I'd like to share just how important the Sacrament is to me and how it can hopefully be important to you. The Sacrament is more than just bread and water on a Sunday. It is an ordinance commanded by God that we partake! The reason He so badly wants us to take it, is that it represents and symbolizes the blood and body of His Son Jesus Christ. It's one way we communicate with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ that we want to repent and change. When we are baptized we are like an old rusty piece of metal. If you clean that metal off and make it like new and shiny, that's like our baptisms. But we aren't able to be baptized twice! So our Father in Heaven makes it possible for us to renew that Covenant. The piece of metal might start to get dirty and old again but we can keep cleaning it off more frequently to make it more clean more often! I am so grateful for the Sacrament because I know it is what made the best examples in my life light up, what made them better than they would have been on their own. I hope you all will think more of the consistent help the Sacrament can bring you if you will partake in its goodness! I love yall, I hope everyone has a great week. Don't forget to email me and send me photos of any fun things that have happened. Congrats to everyone graduating this week! That's so exciting😊 - Elder Maxfield 207 South Church Avenue Rockwood, TN 37854 Previous Letter Next Letter

  • Sister Resha Bunker

6e5470a9-c0cc-4f7b-aeb0-45344ccae1aa Sister Resha Bunker Back to Missionary Letters This is the most bittersweet email I will ever send. For the past 18 months, I have spent every hour, day and night, laboring in the vineyard of the Lord. I've devoted all of my time, energy, might, and soul to my Savior and my God. To say that I've seen miracles would be an understatement. No words will ever adequately describe the love I have for my mission, for this Gospel, for my brother, Christ, and for my Father in Heaven. I want to bear pure testimony of a few of the things I have come to learn to be absolutely true throughout my mission. First of all, I know that The Book of Mormon is true, and I LOVE this Book. I only know that The Book of Mormon is true because I took the time to study it, and then I asked God to know if it was true. I receive a reconfirmation of this every single time I read it because when I do, I feel GOOD, and good things come from Christ. I know that in the Spring of 1820, a boy named Joseph Smith knelt in prayer, and he saw God the Father, and the Son. Joseph Smith restored the Gospel to the Earth. This leads to my next point. I know that the Gospel truly is the good news of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is the way to have true peace and joy not only in this life, but also in the life to come. Living the Gospel better helps us feel of the love that our Heavenly Father and our brother, Christ, have for us. Love is the essence of the gospel, that's what it is all about. Thirdly, the scriptures use the phrase, "There never was a happier people". This phrase occurs periodically when the people are being obedient, and heeding the words of the prophet, who was teaching of Christ. I know that there never has been a happier time in my own life as this time which I have had to serve the Lord. This happiness has been because of my obedience to the Gospel, and because I have been trying my best to exemplify and embody Christ. With that being said, none of us are, or can be perfect. BUT.... we can ALL try to be BETTER. I know it is challenging at times, but you can't grow without getting out of your comfort zone. Push yourself a little bit harder, and God will strengthen your efforts, and turn your weaknesses into strengths. I know that Heavenly Father LOVES us, and that's why He stretches us. Lastly, I testify that Jesus is the Christ, the true Messiah, the Redeemer of the World. He is the Son of our living and loving Heavenly Father. I truly know that with faith in Christ, there is absolutely nothing we cannot accomplish. Let Christ heal you and strengthen you. He will help you become the person God knows you can become. I am eternally grateful for this name tag that I have gotten to wear, and I'm grateful for who Ive been able to represent. I love my God, and I love my Christ. These have been very sacred days that I have spent on holy ground. I say all of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, our healer and our advocate, amen. Love, Sister Bunker Picture: The Bayview District, plus the Zone Leaders, plus the assistants. Previous Letter Next Letter

  • Sister Alyson Cook

1aa2efb4-ac39-4293-a352-90055254c293 Sister Alyson Cook Back to Missionary Letters The first half of my mission was spent doing normal missionary work. I was knocking on doors, I was talking to people on the streets, and teaching in peoples homes. When I came back out the second time, the new normal became calling formers, messaging people on facebook, and teaching online or over the phone. It was quite the transition, and it definitely took time to get the hang of, but for me personally and compared to the rest of my mission, I was the busiest in isolation. There's a lot of factors that go into being 'busy' as a missionary (like the area, people in the area, ect) but I can say with only gratitude in my heart that the reason I was so busy was because the Lord was hand preparing people to receive the Gospel. It may have taken something big like a [insert whichever 2020 crisis you would like to cite] to make it happen, but He made it happen if it meant that just one person would benefit from it. Hello everyone! Its been a while. for that, I am sorry. But! I have a good reason. We were just so incredibly blessed in the area where I served that we were just so busy with the work so writing my weekly fell by the wayside. So I wanted to send one last email to all of you to update you on what went on the last couple months. I am currently sitting at home in Bunkerville Nevada, and have completed my mission. So I guess this is an update and a wrap up. I guess the first thing I want you all (Yinz) to know is how aware the Lord is of all of us, and is willing to cause all sorts of ruckus if it means our wellbeing is accomplished. I saw this in my own personal life, in the lives of those I've taught, and predominantly in the recent case of this Covid pandemic. I was able to witness significant miracles almost daily, reaffirming my testimony on the matter. The first half of my mission was spent doing normal missionary work. There's a lot of factors that go into being 'busy' as a missionary (like the area, people in the area, etc) but I can say with only gratitude in my heart that the reason I was so busy was because the Lord was hand preparing people to receive the Gospel. It may have taken something big like a [insert whichever 2020 crisis you would like to cite] to make it happen, but He made it happen if it meant that just one person would benefit from it. Amazingly, I had a lot of 'one persons' come into my life. I'd like to take a moment to talk about a couple of them. For the sake of the length of this email, Ill assume you all read my past weeklies and are aware of all the magnificent people that I met 5 months ago and will just include the new to you peeps. Anita. You may have heard of her, she has been fantastic since day one we called her. I have some great news! She was baptized on October 17th! Her testimony grew like a wildfire, and she shares it with us any chance she gets. Her story is an interesting one. She sat next to a return missionary on the plane and learned about the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She thought it was interesting, and took her card and forgot about it. Well, covid happened, and Anita was really hit hard by it all. Then one day, she was scrolling on facebook, and saw a post about our church. Everything she heard came flooding back. She reached out to us and we talked 3 times a week until she was baptized. Her favorite point about the gospel is the fact that God talks through prophets in days of old as well as today. The circumstances of her finding the light of the gospel were specifically tailored to her by God, and each domino was meticulously placed. The cool thing about Anita, is that although I taught her for close to 6 months, I only ever saw her in person twice. Once when we accidentally ran into her while dropping off a Book of Mormon for her and then on her actual baptism day. Jimmy (not actual name) is another person who comes to mind. He has been through a lot in his life, and moved to Pittsburgh as a new start to get closer to his children. Well, covid turned his life upside down. His once prestigious job offer was withdrawn upon arrival in Pittsburgh. He was left desolate, his kids he moved back for refrained from contacting him, he was at a pretty low point. Like Anita, one day he was scrolling on Facebook and came across a post from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In his own words, He said that the post "radiated light and love" so he clicked on it. Jimmy later was baptized on October 3rd. His life was filled with a sense of hope and joy he didn't have before. Although some things have improved in his life, He attributes the blessings to come from God. He has always been an amazing example of faith to me! Never did he turn his back on God. In fact, his first instinct when things got hard was to turn to God with full purpose of heart. Which is how we were able to get in contact with him in the first place. There are so many more people that are currently being taught, but this is getting lengthy. Just know that there were so many people that we were able to come in contact with that were such precious souls of our Father in Heaven. If you were to ask me what my favorite part of missionary work is the first part of my mission, I would probably say something cliche like 'the people' or something like that. Now, I have a better answer. My favorite part is watching someone's eyes the moment that the Gospel made some sort of impact in their soul. That moment where something clicks inside of them. You can watch it as it happens! Their eyes sparkle, and they sit a little straighter. If that moment happened away from us missionaries (which it often did) there was no need to worry. The residual sparkle was just as good. What that sparkle meant is that they were starting to gain a testimony and grasp the marvelous concept of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was the beginning notes of the song referenced in Alma 5, when the prophet Alma described the effects that feeling the Saviors Redeeming Love can have in our life. (verse 26) These moments mean so much, because I have felt to sing the song of redeeming love many times over the last 2 years. My life has changed in ways I've never thought possible. I was overwhelmed by the grace that my Savior has shown me. I understand more the plan that my Father in Heaven has for me- and for all of us for that matter. I know the purpose of this life we have on earth. I recognize the love that my Father in Heaven has for me, and just how far He was and is willing to go for me. I know that Christ is my Savior, and has paid the ultimate price for me. He has suffered complete and utter anguish on my behalf. Knowing all these thing causes my heart to sing, and the only thing better than that feeling was hearing others start singing the same melody that you are. I love you all! Thank you for joining me on this crazy adventure of mine. Please reach out to me either on this email, alyson.p.cook@gmail.com , on facebook, on messenger, heck whatever platform you like! The invitation is to everyone. I would love to talk with you!! Love Sister Alyson Cook Previous Letter Next Letter

86b47623-552a-4184-a409-320d4aeb992f Elder Tauaimalo Fiso Back to Missionary Letters The Sandhills Hey everyone! Hope y'all are doing well. It's been a great week. We had transfers and I am now in Gordon, Nebraska!! My new companion is Elder Kinikni. He's a funny dude and is the LIFE of the party. He's Tongan and supposed to go to Tonga, too for his original assignment. Anyways back to Gordon, it's a tiny, tiny town of about 1,800 people right on the border of South Dakota and Nebraska. I thought Mesquite was small but then there's Gordon and another town right outside of Gordon that's called Clinton that has only 33 people. It's crazy. The awesome thing about small towns is that everyone is so nice! You wave and they wave back. You can start a conversation with random people and go off for like half an hour(great contacting). The people in Gordon are so nice and I'm glad to be here! Out here in Gordon there are three sets of missionaries: a set of sisters, elders, and some ranch elders. The ranch elders are basically service missionaries that help out on some of the ranches here in the Dakotas. Elder Kinikini and I are mainly the proselyting (regular missionary work like finding people and teaching lessons) elders, but every once in a while, we'll go down and help at a ranch with the other elders. It is definitely a lot of fun! On Friday, all we really did was help clean out some huge sheds and barns but come spring and summer time, there will be a lot more fun stuff to do:). On Sunday, we met the new branch president, President Redman, and we just got to know each other and told him about the area. He then asked me and Elder Kinikini to speak in sacrament probably 20 minutes before the meeting. Usually I would be nervous as heck, but I felt pretty good about speaking (and I'm not the greatest speaker by far). I talked about prayer, it's importance, and how it has changed my life. Whenever I think of prayer, I think of my dad. Prayer was a priority for him. I would always catch him on his knees before going to work or going to bed. He's the greatest example of prayer in my life and I'm forever grateful to call him dad. Prayer is definitely a blessing, a way for us to communicate with God. I challenge you all this week (I will try as well) to make Prayer a Priority. Take about a minute or two to have a conversation with your Heavenly Father. Give gratitude and ask SPECIFICALLY for things you stand in need of. I promise you that as you do, your life will be filled with peace and you will begin to notice all the blessings, even the small ones, God had given you. "Oh, how praying rests the weary! Prayer will change the night to day. So, when life gets dark and dreary, don't forget to pray." Ou te alofa tele atu ia outou uma, Elder Fiso Previous Letter Next Letter

e4355e75-c817-4835-ba43-d4b5dd8e3abe Sister Bernice Fiso Back to Missionary Letters This week was amazing!!! I'm grateful to be participating in this great work of teaching repentance and baptizing converts!!! We were able to literally witness a beautiful baptism yesterday morning and I know for a fact that the spirit was present! I'm grateful that Heavenly Father provided Sister Bokai the opportunity to teach Terry and that the spirit was able to touch his heart in a way that no one could have. Terry loved his baptism day and his son was able to attend as well. We're starting to teach him. He told us he felt good at the baptism and he loved how welcoming and friendly the branch was. I love the fact that Terry's conversion process all began with a baptism. He attended a recent converts baptism, Kemal Cummings. He loved how he felt that morning. He loved the spirit. He loved every moment of that baptism and said he wanted to feel like that all the time. We invited him to be baptized, and even though we had some bumps on the road and curves Heavenly Father came through and really answered our prayers, especially Terry's when we needed it! And yesterday was his day. What an emotional day it was. Elder Allred baptized him, Sister Bokai and I witnessed and testimonies were shared. 'Twas a beautiful day indeed. I'm grateful for this opportunity that I get to share what makes me absolutely happy with those I love and meet. The gospel and the Book of Mormon is changing me. I know with every fiber of my being that this church is true! I've experienced too many miracles and blessings for it not to be true. I love my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. I know He lives! Sister Fiso Previous Letter Next Letter
